Description
GenJet™ DNA In Vitro
Transfection Reagent for MDCK cell is pre-optimized for transfecting MDCK cells.
MDCK cell line is derived from the kidney of an apparently normal, adult, female
cocker spaniel; used in numerous viral studies; susceptible to vesicular
stomatitis, vaccinia, and Coxsackie viruses, and certain reoviruses and
adenoviruses.
The "Shaved Cell
Transfection" protocol was optimized to achieve maximal transfection efficiency. Refer to the following optimal transfection conditions for maximal transfection
efficiency on MDCK cells. GenJet™ reagent, 1.0 ml, is sufficient for 300 transfections in 24 well plates or 150 transfections in 6 well plates.
