Staff Scientist (job code: SS-1)
Description: We are seeking a self-motivated staff scientist who will be responsible for CRISPR/Cas9 based creation of transgenic mouse models. The main job will be following up literature, designing sgRNA,
ribonucleoprotein (RNP) assembly, zygote collection, RNP electroporation and zygote implantation etc. This job is full time.
Requirement: Ph.D. with at least 3 years virological research and transgenic animal model creation experiences.
Two Research Associate (job code: RA-1)
Description: Requires basic knowledge of molecular biology or virology. Candidate is expected to perform basic molecular biological experiments (such as plasmid mini or maxi prep); perform basic analytical testing of plasmid DNA (such as gel electrophoresis, HPLC and UV spectrometer); as well as analyze, document and report experimental data. Candidate will be generating materials under tight timelines and multiple requests, which require self motivation, multi-tasking, flexibility and good communication skills. Ability to be an effective team player is essential. Critical thinking and attention to details required. Candidate will be working under supervision but level of independence should increase with time. We are seeking for a self-motivated Research Associates who will be responsible for virus product research and development. This job is full time.
Requirement: Master with CRISPR/Cas9
reseach, tissue culture, molecular biology, virological research experiences. Experience with
animals handle is a plus.
