AAV8-TBG-GFP is a pre-packaged rAAV in serotype 8 (capsid from AAV serotype 8
and 2xITR
from AAV serotype 2) which over-expresses EGFP under
the liver specific TBG promoter.
TBG promoter is a hybrid promoter based on the human thyroid hormone-binding
globulin (TBG) promoter and microglobin/bikunin enhancer; The TBG promoter is
about 0.8 kb in length and has been used for liver-specific transgene
expression.
