Description:
AAV(PHP.eB)-CMV-Cre is a pre-packaged rAAV in serotype PHP.eB (with
capsid from AAV serotype PHP.eB and 2xITR from AAV serotype 2) which
over-expresses Cre under CMV promoter. This
pre-made rAAV is used in the Cre-lox system as a genetic tool to generate
site-specific recombination of DNA between loxP sites in cultured cells and
animal experiments. Compared
with rAAV serotype PHP.B, rAAV in serotype PHP.eB is able to penetrate brain-blood
barrier (BBB) and infect CNS via tail vein I.V. with 5 times better
transduction efficiency. Ready to use format.
