Description:
AAV(PHP.eB)-GFAP-GFP is a pre-packaged rAAV in serotype PHP.eB (with capsid
from AAV serotype PHP.eB and 2xITR from AAV serotype 2) which over-expresses GFP
exclusively in astrocytes/glial cells under GFAP promoter. AAV(PHP.eB)-GFAP-GFP
was super purified in vivo grade and can be used for both in vitro and in vivo
applications.
Compared with rAAV
serotype 9 and PHP.B, rAAV in serotype PHP.eB is able to penetrate brain-blood
barrier (BBB) and infect CNS via tail vein with 5 times better transduction
efficiency. Ready to use format.
