LV-UBC-mCherry-GFP-LC3
is a pre-made lentiviral vector
that overexpresses an
mCherry-GFP-LC3 fusion protein under control of the UBC promoter in mammalian
cells. This vector enables visualization of autophagic flux: free autophagosomes
display both GFP and mCherry fluorescence, whereas autophagosomes fused with
lysosomes (autolysosomes) show mCherry fluorescence only, due to the acid
sensitivity and quenching of GFP.
