Description: AAV6.2-CMV-Cre is
a pre-packaged rAAV in serotype 6.2 (with capsid from AAV serotype 6.2 and 2xITR
from AAV serotype 2) which over-expresses Cre recombinase under the CMV promoter.
This product used in the Cre-lox system as a genetic tool to generate
site-specific recombination of DNA between loxP sites in cultured cells and
animal experiments.
The AAV6.2 capsid contains a site mutation (F129L) in the AAV6 VP1 gene,
providing superior transduction efficiency in primary human airway epithelial
cells and lung epithelial cells in mice.
