GenJet™ In Vitro DNA Transfection Reagent

I tried the sample of GenJet against lipofectamine 2000 in primary melanocytes. This is a difficult to transfect cell type and they are sensitive to toxicity. I did not transfect in serum-free medium as the media is already low serum (2.5%). The transfection efficiency was good (better than L2K) and the cells were much happier - under brightfield most of the cells in the L2K well are dead or balled up. I just ordered some more Genjet so I can optimize the transfection conditions and try to improve the efficiency. I didn't know about the free gift but that would be nice.

Overall I was happy with your product and will probably use it in the future.
