Description:
Ad-CMV-Venus-T2A-AkaLuc is a pre-made
recombinant human adenovirus type 5 that expresses the Venus reporter and AkaLuc
via a T2A linker under the CMV promoter, suitable for both in vitro and in vivo
imaging applications. AkaLuc is an engineered luciferase optimized for use with
the substrate AkaLumine-HCl, providing significantly higher in vivo sensitivity
(approximately 10–100× brighter than firefly luciferase in mice) and
near-infrared emission (~675 nm) for deeper tissue penetration and reduced
autofluorescence. The virus is supplied in a ready-to-use format.
