Description: AAV(PHP.eB)-Syn-Cre-GFP
is a pre-packaged rAAV in serotype PHP.eB (with capsid from AAV serotype PHP.eB and
2xITR from AAV serotype 2) which over-expresses Cre-GFP fusion protein under
human Synapsin promoter (exclusive expression in neurons). AAV
PHP.eB is an engineered capsid variant of adeno-associated virus (AAV) that is
highly efficient at crossing the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and transducing cells
within the central nervous system (CNS) when delivered systemically. Developed
from the AAV-PHP.B capsid, AAV PHP.eB exhibits enhanced transduction efficiency,
particularly in neurons and astrocytes, making it a powerful tool for
neuroscience research.
