It seems the ver. II is 2 times sensitive than ver. I. But it is still less sensitive than Amersham ECL Plus. Considering the price, LumiGOLD is good, only 250 ml/$ 98 while ECL Plus needs 125 ml/$ 358. Another problem is ECL Plus is sticky to blot with high backgroud. LumiGOLD gives a very clean backgroud. In a word, I am pretty happy with this product......affordable and OK sensitivity.
