This recombinant human adenovirus
type 5 expresses venus fluorescent protein under the CMV promoter.
Venus is a basic (constitutively fluorescent) yellow fluorescent protein
published in 2002, derived from Aequorea victoria. It is reported to be a
rapidly-maturing weak dimer with moderate acid sensitivity.
