Renilla luciferase (Rluc)
under CMV promoter. Renilla luciferase is a 36kDa protein from sea pansy
(Renilla reniformis). Renilla luciferase requires only coelenterazine and
oxygen and produces a blue light of 480nm. The enzyme can be used as a
convenient alternative to firefly (Photinus pyralis) reporter system.
