LIPOFECTAMINE is a 3:1 (w/w) mixture of the polycationic lipid, 2,3-dioleyloxy-N-[2(sperminecarboxamido)ethyl]-N,N-dimethyl-1-propanaminium trifluoroacetate (DOSPA), and DOPE.
