At SignaGen Laboratories, we are committed to delivering high-quality research products to our customers quickly, safely, and reliably. Because many of our products—including viral vectors and sensitive reagents—require strict handling conditions to preserve activity and integrity, our shipping procedures are carefully designed to minimize transit time, prevent temperature excursions, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. The information below outlines our shipping carrier, schedules, packaging practices, and important considerations for domestic and international deliveries.
All products are manufactured, quality-controlled, packaged, and shipped from our address below.

Our centralized production and fulfillment facility allows us to maintain strict control over product quality, documentation, and chain of custody from manufacturing through delivery. Every shipment leaves directly from our facility to ensure authenticity and traceability.
We ship all customer orders exclusively via FedEx. FedEx has been selected as our sole carrier due to its reliability, global reach, temperature-controlled logistics capabilities, and real-time tracking services.
Using a single carrier allows us to:
Tracking information is provided to customers as soon as an order is dispatched. Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment progress and ensuring that packages can be received promptly upon delivery.
For eligible products, orders received by 3:00 PM (Eastern Time), Monday through Wednesday, will be shipped on the same day.
Orders received after 3:00 PM, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed and shipped on the next available shipping day according to the schedules outlined below.
Same-day shipping applies only when:
Our shipping schedule is structured to avoid weekend delays, reduce the risk of temperature excursions, and maximize product stability upon arrival. Because FedEx typically does not guarantee weekend delivery in many regions, we ship early in the week for domestic orders and late in the week for international orders to optimize transit timing.
Most transfection reagents supplied by SignaGen are stable at room temperature (RT) during transit when properly packaged.
Domestic (U.S.) Orders:
International Orders:
Domestic shipments early in the week help ensure delivery before the weekend. International shipments are sent on Fridays to align with extended transit times and customs processing schedules.
Room-temperature products are packaged in protective materials designed to prevent physical damage and maintain stable conditions during transport. While these products do not require refrigeration or dry ice, customers should still store them according to the instructions provided upon receipt.
Viral vectors are highly sensitive biological materials that must remain frozen to maintain potency and structural integrity. Therefore, all viral vector products are shipped on dry ice using validated insulated containers.
Domestic (U.S.) Orders:
International Orders:
Early-week domestic shipping ensures that packages arrive before dry ice depletion and avoids weekend transit interruptions. For international deliveries, Friday dispatches are coordinated with FedEx international logistics workflows to support rapid customs clearance and minimize delays.
All shipments containing viral vectors require specialized packaging and dry ice replenishment. A dry ice handling and packaging fee applies to these orders. This fee covers:
Each shipment is prepared by trained personnel following strict standard operating procedures. Packaging methods are selected based on product type and temperature requirements.
Room-Temperature Products:
Frozen Products:
Packaging configurations are validated to ensure products remain within acceptable temperature ranges throughout transit under normal shipping conditions.
Customers are strongly advised to plan for immediate receipt of shipments, particularly those containing frozen materials. Upon delivery:
Failure to promptly retrieve packages from outdoor locations, mailrooms, or receiving docks may compromise product quality.
International shipments may be subject to customs clearance procedures, import permits, taxes, duties, and brokerage fees imposed by the destination country. These requirements vary widely by region and are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise agreed in writing.
To facilitate smooth delivery, customers should:
Using the recipient’s FedEx account is often recommended for international orders to expedite customs processing and reduce delays.
Severe weather events, peak shipping seasons, and public holidays may affect carrier operations. While we strive to dispatch orders according to schedule, SignaGen Laboratories cannot guarantee transit times once packages are in the carrier’s possession.
If extreme conditions are anticipated, shipments may be delayed to protect product integrity.
Shipping procedures may be adjusted periodically to reflect changes in carrier services, regulatory requirements, or product handling needs. The most current shipping information will always be posted on this page.
