Whether the project involves the use of an end-user–provided gene of interest (GOI) or a synthesized fragment produced at SignaGen, the customer retains full control over all sequences, designs, and related IP. SignaGen serves solely as a service provider, executing vector design, cloning, validation, and packaging according to the customer’s specifications while ensuring the highest standards of quality and reproducibility. By maintaining full IP ownership, customers are free to use, modify, or commercialize their AAV vectors without restrictions or claims from SignaGen. This approach fosters trust, transparency, and collaboration, allowing researchers to advance their projects with confidence, knowing that all proprietary information, designs, and resulting AAV products are fully secured under their ownership from the initial concept through final delivery.
