Description:
GenMute™ siRNA Transfection Reagent for U2OS Cells is specifically optimized for efficient siRNA delivery into U2OS cells. U2OS is a human osteosarcoma cell line originally derived from the tibial bone of a 15-year-old female patient and established in 1964. The cells display an epithelial-like adherent morphology and are widely used in studies of cancer biology, cell cycle regulation, DNA damage response, and gene function. U2OS cells express insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) and II (IGF-II) receptors and are well characterized for consistent growth and transfection performance in vitro.

– GenMute™ Reagent, 1.0 mL, sufficient for ~833 reactions based on transfecting 15 pmol siRNA or miRNA mimics in a 24-well plate
– GenMute™ Transfection Buffer (5x ), formulated for maximal transfection efficiency, 8.0 mL to make a 40 mL working solution
Refer to the following optimal transfection conditions for maximal silencing on U2OS cells. GenMute™ reagent, 1.0 mL, is sufficient for ~833 transfections in 24-well plates or ~416 transfections in 6-well plates.
