Description:
GenMute™ siRNA Transfection Reagent for RAW 264.7 Cells is specifically optimized for efficient siRNA delivery into RAW 264.7 cells. RAW 264.7 is a macrophage-like murine cell line derived from BALB/c mice and transformed with Abelson murine leukemia virus. This cell line is widely used in studies of macrophage biology, inflammation, signal transduction, and host–pathogen interactions. Following transfection, cells are compatible with standard immunocytochemistry workflows for analyzing protein expression and protein–protein interactions.
Size & Contents:
– GenMute™ Reagent (1.0 mL): Sufficient for approximately 833 transfections based on delivery of 15 pmol siRNA or miRNA mimics per well in a 24-well plate
– GenMute™ Transfection Buffer (5×, 8.0 mL): Optimized for maximal transfection efficiency; yields 40 mL of 1× working solution
Refer to the recommended optimal transfection conditions for achieving maximal gene silencing in RAW 264.7 cells. One 1.0 mL vial of GenMute™ Reagent is sufficient for approximately 833 transfections in 24-well plates or 416 transfections in 6-well plates.
