GenMute™ siRNA Transfection Reagent for Neuro2A Cell
Description:
GenMute™ siRNA Transfection Reagent for Neuro-2A Cells is specifically pre-optimized for efficient delivery of siRNA into Neuro-2A (N2A) cells, a mouse neuroblastoma cell line widely used as an in vitro model for neuronal differentiation, neurodevelopment, neurotoxicity, and signal transduction studies. Neuro-2A cells can exhibit variable transfection efficiency with conventional reagents, particularly when differentiated into neuron-like cells. This formulation is designed to enhance cellular uptake and endosomal release of siRNA while maintaining high cell viability and normal cellular morphology. For optimal gene knockdown performance, users should follow the recommended transfection conditions established for Neuro-2A cells, including appropriate cell density, siRNA amount, and incubation parameters.

– GenMute™ Reagent, 1.0 mL, sufficient for ~833 reactions based on transfecting 20 pmol siRNA or miRNA mimics in a 24-well plate
– GenMute™ Transfection Buffer (5x ), formulated for maximal transfection efficiency, 8.0 mL to make 40 mL working solution
Refer to the following optimal transfection conditions for maximal silencing on primary keratinocytes. GenMute™ reagent, 1.0 mL, is sufficient for ~833 transfections in 24-well plates or ~416 transfections in 6-well plates.
