GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for LNCaP Cells is pre-optimized for efficient DNA transfection of LNCaP cells. LNCaP is an androgen-responsive human prostate adenocarcinoma cell line derived from a lymph node metastasis and is widely used in prostate cancer research, androgen receptor signaling studies, and drug discovery. LNCaP cells exhibit epithelial morphology and typically grow as both aggregates and individual adherent cells.

The transfection conditions described below have been optimized to achieve maximal transfection efficiency in LNCaP cells while maintaining excellent cell viability. One milliliter of GenJet™ reagent is sufficient for approximately 300–600 transfections in 24-well plates or 50–100 transfections in 6-well plates.

Storage Conditions
Store at 4°C. When maintained under recommended storage conditions, the reagent remains stable for at least 24 months.

LNCaP cells were cultured under ATCC-recommended growth conditions and transfected with the GFP reporter plasmid pEGFP-N3 using GenJet™ reagent. Transfection efficiency was evaluated 48 hours post-transfection by assessing GFP expression via fluorescence microscopy.
