Description
GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for L929 Cells is pre-optimized for efficient DNA transfection of L929 cells. L929 is a mouse fibroblast-like cell line originally derived from subcutaneous connective tissue and is widely used in studies of cytotoxicity, apoptosis, inflammation, and cytokine signaling. Due to its high sensitivity to tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α)-mediated cell death, L929 cells are commonly employed in TNF bioassays and related research applications.
The transfection conditions described below have been optimized to achieve maximal transfection efficiency in L929 cells while maintaining excellent cell viability. One milliliter of GenJet™ reagent is sufficient for approximately 300–600 transfections in 24-well plates or 150–300 transfections in 6-well plates.
Storage Conditions
Store at 4°C. When maintained under recommended storage conditions, the reagent remains stable for at least 24 months.
