GenJet™ In Vitro DNA Transfection Reagent for Keratinocytes
Description
GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for Keratinocytes is pre-optimized for efficient DNA delivery into both primary and immortalized human or mouse keratinocytes. Keratinocytes are generally challenging to transfect due to their sensitivity to transfection-induced cytotoxicity and limited uptake of nucleic acids. Through proprietary formulation and optimization, GenJet™ reagent enables high transfection efficiency while maintaining excellent cell viability, achieving up to 50% GFP-positive cells under optimized conditions.
The transfection conditions described below have been optimized to achieve maximal transfection efficiency in keratinocytes. One milliliter of GenJet™ reagent is sufficient for approximately 600 transfections in 24-well plates or 300 transfections in 6-well plates.
Storage Conditions
Store at 4°C. When maintained under recommended storage conditions, the reagent remains stable for at least 24 months.
