GenJet™ In Vitro DNA Transfection Reagent for HeLa Cells
Description:
GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for HeLa Cells is pre-optimized for efficient DNA delivery into HeLa cells. HeLa cells (ATCC® CCL-2.2™), derived from a human cervical adenocarcinoma, are among the most widely used cell lines in biomedical research due to their robust growth and high transfectability. The transfection conditions described below have been optimized to achieve maximal transfection efficiency in HeLa cells. One milliliter of GenJet™ reagent is sufficient for approximately 600–1200 transfections in 24-well plates or 300–600 transfections in 6-well plates.
Storage Conditions:
Store at 4°C. When maintained under recommended storage conditions, the reagent remains stable for at least 24 months.
A representative fluorescence microscopy image demonstrating the transfection efficiency of GenJet™ Reagent in HeLa cells (ATCC® CCL-2.2™). Cells were cultured under ATCC-recommended growth conditions and transfected with the pEGFP-N3 reporter plasmid using GenJet™ Reagent. Transgene expression was assessed 48 hours post-transfection by monitoring GFP fluorescence, which served as an indicator of DNA delivery and gene expression efficiency.
