Description
GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for B16-F10 Cells is specifically optimized for efficient plasmid DNA transfection in B16-F10 cells. B16-F10 is a highly metastatic murine melanoma cell line derived from the B16 melanoma originally established in C57BL/6 mice. This cell line is widely used as an experimental model for melanoma biology, tumor metastasis, cancer immunology, and the development of novel anticancer therapies. B16-F10 cells express multiple melanoma-associated antigens, including tyrosinase, tyrosinase-related proteins (TRP-1 and TRP-2), and other tumor-associated antigens, making them a valuable platform for evaluating cancer vaccines, immunotherapies, and gene-based therapeutic approaches.
The transfection conditions described below have been optimized to achieve maximal transfection efficiency in B16-F10 cells. One milliliter of GenJet™ Reagent is sufficient for approximately 300–600 transfections in 24-well plates or 150–300 transfections in 6-well plates, depending on the culture format and amount of DNA used.
Storage Condition
Store at 4°C. When maintained under the recommended storage conditions, the product remains stable for at least 24 months.
