GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for 3LL Cells is pre-optimized for highly efficient DNA delivery into 3LL (Lewis Lung Carcinoma) cells. The 3LL cell line originates from a spontaneous lung carcinoma that arose in a C57BL/6 mouse and was first described by Dr. Margaret R. Lewis at the Wistar Institute. Since its establishment, 3LL cells have been widely used as a syngeneic murine tumor model for studies of lung cancer biology, tumor metastasis, immuno-oncology, and therapeutic development.

The transfection conditions described below have been optimized to achieve maximal transfection efficiency and transgene expression in 3LL cells. Refer to the recommended protocol for efficient plasmid DNA delivery. One milliliter of GenJet™ reagent is sufficient for approximately 300–600 transfections in 24-well plates or 150–300 transfections in 6-well plates.

Storage Condition
Store at 4 °C. When stored under the recommended conditions, the product remains stable for at least 24 months.
