GenJet™ In Vitro DNA Transfection Kit for HUVEC

GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for HUVECs is specifically optimized for efficient plasmid DNA delivery into Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs). HUVECs are primary endothelial cells widely used in studies of angiogenesis, vascular biology, endothelial signaling, inflammation, and cardiovascular disease. Due to their primary-cell origin and sensitivity to transfection-associated cytotoxicity, HUVECs are generally considered difficult to transfect using conventional non-viral gene delivery methods.

In combination with GenJet™ Transfection Buffer, this specialized formulation enhances DNA uptake and transgene expression while minimizing transfection-related cytotoxicity. Under optimized conditions, transfection efficiencies of up to 60% can be achieved while maintaining excellent cell viability. The transfection conditions described below have been optimized to maximize gene delivery performance in HUVECs.

One milliliter of GenJet™ Reagent is sufficient for approximately 500 transfections in 24-well plates or 250 transfections in 6-well plates, depending on the culture format and amount of DNA used.

Storage Condition
