Description:
mMKOS encodes four mouse reprogramming factors—c-Myc, Klf4, Oct4, and Sox2 (BC006728, NM_010637, NM_013633, NM_011443). Ad-mMKOS-GFP employs 2A self-cleaving peptides (F2A, T2A, E2A) to enable efficient polycistronic expression from a single CMV promoter, reducing the need for multiple viral vectors. This construct supports robust co-expression of all four transcription factors along with GFP, enabling convenient monitoring of transduction efficiency. It is optimized for efficient reprogramming of somatic cells into induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.
