Description:
Ad-CMV-mCherry-GFP-LC3 is a pre-made recombinant adenoviral vector based on a serotype 5 backbone with E1 and E3 deletions. It drives expression of an mCherry–GFP–LC3 fusion protein under the control of the CMV promoter in mammalian cells. This dual-fluorescent reporter enables visualization and assessment of autophagic flux: autophagosomes exhibit both GFP and mCherry signals, while autolysosomes display mCherry fluorescence only due to the acid-sensitive quenching of GFP within lysosomes. This vector is widely used for monitoring autophagy dynamics in vitro and in vivo.
