Description:
AAV1-U6-shRNA (Scramble)-GFP is a pre-packaged recombinant AAV based on serotype 1, featuring an AAV1 capsid and AAV2 inverted terminal repeats (ITRs). It expresses a non-targeting scramble shRNA under the control of the U6 promoter, with co-expression of GFP driven by the CMV promoter as a reporter. This vector is commonly used as a negative control in gene knockdown studies in cultured cells and animal models. The vector cassette is structured as: ITR–U6–shRNA (scramble)–PolyT–CMV–GFP–PolyA–ITR. Supplied in a ready-to-use format, it enables reliable and reproducible applications in vitro and in vivo.
