Description:
AAVrg-Null is a pre-packaged recombinant AAV (rAAV) packaged in the engineered retrograde serotype AAVrg (containing the AAVrg capsid and AAV2 inverted terminal repeats [ITRs]). This vector contains no functional transgene expression cassette and serves as a negative control for AAV-mediated gene delivery studies. Supplied in a ready-to-use format, it is useful for evaluating vector-related effects independent of transgene expression.
AAVrg is an engineered AAV serotype with enhanced retrograde transport properties, making it a valuable tool for neuronal circuit mapping, connectivity studies, and selective targeting of projection neurons in the central and peripheral nervous systems.
