Description:
AAV8-HBV1.3 is a ready-to-use, pre-packaged recombinant AAV vector produced with AAV serotype 8 capsid and AAV2 inverted terminal repeats (2× ITRs). The vector carries a 1.3-fold overlength hepatitis B virus (HBV) genome derived from the classic genotype D (serotype ayw), incorporating an approximately 30% genome repeat to support efficient viral replication and robust transgene expression in vivo.
Leveraging the strong liver tropism and long-term expression profile of AAV8, this construct enables persistent HBV genome expression, making AAV8-HBV1.3 a reliable and well-established tool for generating HBV animal models for pathogenesis studies, antiviral evaluation, and therapeutic development. The product is supplied in a fully packaged, ready-to-use format for immediate experimental application.
