Description:
AAV8-HBV1.2 is a ready-to-use, pre-packaged recombinant AAV vector produced with an AAV serotype 8 capsid and AAV2 inverted terminal repeats (2× ITRs). The vector carries a 1.2-fold overlength hepatitis B virus (HBV) genome derived from the classic genotype D (serotype ayw), incorporating an approximately 20% genome repeat to enhance transduction efficiency and support effective HBV replication in vivo.
With the ability of rAAV to mediate stable and persistent transgene expression, AAV8-HBV1.2 serves as a robust and well-validated tool for establishing HBV animal models in studies of viral biology, pathogenesis, and therapeutic evaluation. The product is supplied in a fully packaged, ready-to-use format for immediate experimental use.
