Description:
AAV(BI30)-CMV-Cre-GFP is a pre-packaged recombinant adeno-associated virus formulated with the BI30 capsid, which exhibits enhanced tropism for central nervous system (CNS) endothelial cells. The vector expresses Cre recombinase and enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) from two independent expression cassettes, each driven by a CMV promoter.
This AAV is designed for use in the Cre-lox system to mediate efficient, site-specific recombination between loxP sites, enabling conditional gene activation or deletion in cultured cells and in vivo animal models. EGFP expression allows convenient visualization and assessment of transduction efficiency.
The virus is supplied in a ready-to-use format for immediate experimental application.
