Description:
AAV2-CMV-Cre-GFP is a pre-packaged recombinant AAV based on serotype 2, containing an AAV2 capsid and AAV2 inverted terminal repeats (ITRs). It drives expression of Cre recombinase and EGFP from two separate CMV promoter–controlled cassettes. This vector is commonly used in the Cre–lox system to mediate site-specific DNA recombination between loxP sites in cultured cells and animal models. Supplied in a ready-to-use format, it enables efficient and reproducible genetic manipulation in vitro and in vivo.
