Description:
AAV9-CAG-mCherry is a pre-packaged recombinant AAV vector of serotype 9 (capsid derived from AAV9 with AAV2 inverted terminal repeats, ITRs) that drives robust expression of the red fluorescent protein mCherry under the CAG promoter (also known as CBA), followed by the human growth hormone (hGH) polyadenylation signal. The CAG promoter combines the cytomegalovirus (CMV) immediate-early enhancer with the chicken β-actin promoter, enabling strong, ubiquitous expression across a wide range of mammalian cell types, including neurons and peripheral tissues.
Supplied in a ready-to-use format, AAV9-CAG-mCherry is well suited for both in vitro and in vivo applications, including cell labeling, assessment of transduction efficiency, tissue targeting studies, and optimization of gene delivery conditions.
