Description:
AAV(BI30)-CAG-mCherry is a pre-packaged recombinant AAV vector utilizing the BI30 capsid, which exhibits strong tropism for central nervous system (CNS) endothelial cells. The vector contains AAV2 ITRs and drives expression of the red fluorescent protein mCherry under the control of the CAG promoter (also referred to as CBA). The CAG promoter combines the CMV early enhancer element with the chicken β-actin promoter, enabling robust and ubiquitous transgene expression across a wide range of mammalian cells.
This vector is commonly used for labeling and transduction studies in CNS endothelial cells and is supplied in a ready-to-use format for both in vitro and in vivo applications.
