Description: AAV2-CAG-GFP is a pre-packaged recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) vector based on serotype 2, featuring an AAV2 capsid and AAV2 inverted terminal repeats (ITRs). This vector drives robust expression of enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) under the control of the CAG promoter (also known as CBA), a hybrid promoter composed of the cytomegalovirus (CMV) immediate-early enhancer and the chicken β-actin promoter. The CAG promoter enables strong and widespread transgene expression in a broad range of mammalian cell types. Supplied in a ready-to-use format, AAV2-CAG-GFP is suitable for efficient and reproducible gene delivery in both in vitro and in vivo applications.
