Description:
AAV9-CAG-DIO-hM3D(Gq)-T2A-GFP is a pre-packaged recombinant AAV vector of serotype 9 that enables Cre-dependent expression of the hM3D(Gq) DREADD, with simultaneous expression of a GFP reporter via a T2A self-cleaving peptide, under the control of the CAG promoter (also known as the CBA promoter).
This vector utilizes a DIO (double-floxed inverted ORF) configuration—also referred to as Cre-ON, FLEX-rev, FLEX-ON/FlexON, or AAV-DIO—ensuring that transgene expression occurs only in the presence of Cre recombinase. The virus is supplied in a ready-to-use format for in vitro and in vivo applications.
