🧫 Adenovirus Harvest
At SignaGen Laboratories, adenovirus harvest is initiated immediately upon the appearance of a clear cytopathic effect (CPE) in Ad.MAX™ 293 producer cells to maximize viral yield and maintain viral integrity. Both cells and supernatant are carefully collected and processed under tightly controlled conditions to preserve viral infectivity and ensure consistent downstream performance.
🧬 Adenovirus Purification
Purification strategies are tailored to the intended application. For in vitro use, adenovirus is purified by high-resolution gel filtration chromatography, enabling rapid, scalable production of high-quality viral preparations. For in vivo–grade adenovirus intended for direct animal injection, harvested virus undergoes additional purification by CsCl density gradient ultracentrifugation, producing highly concentrated and well-resolved viral particles. This flexible approach ensures consistently high purity, excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility, and suitability for both in vitro and in vivo studies.
